Softlite Fish Stick 5'9
The 5'9 Fish Stick is a super versatile board!
It is ideal looking for someone who is looking to step down from a bigger board as it has plenty of hidden volume, making it really easy to ride.
Would also suit someone more experience who just wants a really easy board to ride, but doesn't want to jump up to Mini Mal Length.
5'9 Fish Stick Features

Template
This board uses a traditional Fish Style template designed for smaller waves, so it's slightly wider with a nice high widepoint.
This ensures that it planes easily in smaller, weak conditions, while the shorter rail length allows a tighter turning circle in smaller waves.

Thickness
The beauty of our 5'9 is that it has quite a lot of hidden volume, so should allow an intermediate rider to ride a board shorter than they normally would.
This is due to an extra little bit of thickness that carries from the nose through to the tail.

Quad Fin Set Up
This is one of the few boards in our Range with the Quad Fin set up. Basically, this provides more hold, and suits more down-the-line style riding.
Similarly, if you want something a bit looser, it is also fun to ride as a Twin Fin.
plus all the usual softlite features..
moulded cores
We have created and refined our moulds in collaboration with our team riders an renowned surfboard shapers.
Using a mould ensures that every board comes out identical with no imperfections. It also creates a harder shell of EPS foam on the outside making Softlite boards stiffer and more durable than competitors who use similar cores.
BONES AND SHANKS FIN SYSTEM
With this system it is extremely easy to install and remove fins. It is compatible with other fin two tab systems, allowing you to change your fins to suit conditions or alter board performance.
It also allows us to have our deck free of fin screws!
BAMBOO STRINGER TECHNOLOGY
We use Bamboo Stringers, re-enforced with fibreglass sheeting and epoxy resin to give the perfect amount of flex, and greatly decreasing the chance of snapped boards.
Since the introduction of this technology, we've had very few boards snap!
