The 7'0" Pop Stick boasts an updated shape for the 2019 Season. It is the ideal board for someone who is looking to step down from a Mini Mal and start doing proper turns, or just the lazy, more experienced surfer who wants an extra bit of volume for the weaker Summer swells.
Overall, while the new shape is designed for increased performance, we also think it has actually made the board a bit more user friendly to ride!
This template new has a bit more curve, with the wide-point pushed forward a little bit. This ensures that you have plenty of volume under your chest, meaning you'll never be struggling for paddle power. A bit of extra volume up front also gives a little bit of extra stability and will help the board plane across fat or weaker sections of the wave.
While the new shape has essentially increased the surface area a little bit, we've thinned the board out overall, which is particularly noticeable through the rails. This makes the rails a bit easier to sink through turns and generally makes the board a bit more responsive. We feel that this has allowed us the perfect balance of manouverability and stability.
The new 7'0" Pop Stick shape also features a round tail. Generally, it feels a bit looser, but is nice and smooth, especially when transitioning between between turns. While the round tail adds an extra bit of surface area, this helps give a bit more stability on the back foot. Once again we've reduced the thickness a little bit, increasing responsiveness, and also allowing the tail to have a bit more bite in hollower waves.
These are based on a traditional surfboard shape and designed for all levels on surfing, although we have given them a little bit of extra width and thickness. Suggested lengths will depend on height, weight and skill levels.

The boards are constructed using exclusive Softlite Moulds - This ensures that every board comes out identical with no imperfections. It also creates a harder shell of EPS foam on the outside making Softlite boards stiffer and more durable than competitors who use similar cores.
No screws on deck -No kicking your toes on screws, looks good and is easier to wax deck.
Bones and Shanks Fin System - Easy to install and remove fins. Compatible with other fin two tab systems, allowing you to change your fins to suit conditions or alter board performance
Bamboo Stringer System - This is re-enforced with fibreglass sheeting and epoxy resin to give the perfect amount of flex.

We do not ship to PO Boxes, Post Offices, or Parcel Collect addresses as the boards exceed their accepted sizes. Please provide a valid residential address, or a work address.

We offer Free Shipping on All Full-Price Softboards* for metro areas Australia-wide (including bags & leashes when purchased with boards).
Sale Softboards (Flat Rate) — $50 shipping surcharge applies.
Non-Surfboard Orders under $150 — $10 Flat Rate (leashes, fins, wax and accessories)
*Remote/Rural Areas: May incur a flat-rate fee of $50 (see below for details). If this applies, we'll contact you prior to dispatch.

Orders are usually dispatched within 24–48 hours.
Delivery time estimates (after dispatch):

Courier Services & Tracking
- Small parcels are shipped via Australia Post or Direct Freight Express, depending on circumstances.

- A signature may be required on delivery for board orders.
- Couriers do not call before delivery.

- Request Authority to Leave (ATL). If ATL is provided, Softlite takes no responsibility once the item is marked as delivered.

All products marked "In Stock" are held in our warehouse. However, in rare cases, inventory errors, freight damage, or other exceptions may cause an item to be unavailable. If this happens, you'll be notified within 2 business days to arrange an alternative, a backorder, or a full refund.
