Casual Warehouse Staff Wanted

Our Company, World Bodyboards, distributes various Surf Hardware Brands including Stealth Bodyboards, Softlite Soft Surfboards, Mullet Boards and DaFin Swimfins.

About the role

This is a casual warehouse / pick & pack position based in Chippendale, Sydney (close to Redfern Station). 

Our usual business hours are 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although we have a few earlier starts during peak periods & when receiving deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

The major objective of this role is to ensure our products are picked, packed and dispatched to both our wholesale and retail customers in a timely manner.

You will also need to assist in unloading containers of stock into our warehouse.

Please note: Many of our products are large in size and can be reasonably heavy. As they are generally fragile, a lot of manually handling is required, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required. 

No warehousing experience required, but would love the following traits:

• Strong sense of initiative
  
• Ability to demonstrate a flexible working style, dealing with constant change in a busy environment.
• Good Customer services skills.
  
• Very good communication skills.
• A positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
• Above average computer skills
• Knowledge of our brands and/or prior experience working within the Surf Industry would be desirable.
