Perfect for those looking to fly under the radar! The DotDotDot is essentially the same as our Chop Stick Models with minimal branding and some toned down colourways.

We would recommend this for beginner riders weighing 55-65kg, although if you are an experienced surfer of any weight, you'd be able to use this to get your wave count up on the smaller days. Having one of these in your quiver is a surefire way to ensure there is no waves too small or too crowded, so you'll be surfing more than ever!

    Softlite Chop Stick

The Chop Stick has become the most popular board in our range, and with good reason.

Its the perfect addition (or starting point) to your quiver, to help you surf more often, catch more waves and have more fun!

It's available in sizes from 6'0 through to 9'0, so there's a board there for everyone, depending on your size and skill level.

    BOARD FEATURES

    Shape

The Chop Stick uses our Mini Mal template. This is ideal for learning as they paddle fast, allowing you to catch more waves, and give you a little more time to get to your feet. Once your up and riding, the wider nose makes them extremely stable.

    Thickness

We have been mindful to make the Chop Stick a touch thinner than the typical Soft Surfboard. While a thicker board is good for the early stages of learning, they are much harder to turn! By keeping the Chop Stick a touch thinner, this ensures your board doesn't hold you back once you start progressing.

    Rails

Due to our Moulded Core process, we have been able to refine our rails profiles (particularly at the front end), so they are nice and rounded, and not sharp and bulky. This help to stop you from nosediving & catching rails while riding, and similarly to the thickness, makes the board a bit more responsive through turns.

    NEW COLOURS

Whether your into Pastels, Fluro's or Earthy tones, we've got the largest selection (and we think the best) colourways going round!

    BAMBOO STRINGER TECHNOLOGY

We use Bamboo Stringers, re-enforced with fibreglass sheeting and epoxy resin to give the perfect amount of flex, and greatly decreasing the chance of snapped boards.

The introduction of this technology has meant we've had very few snapped boards!

    Bones AND SHANKS FIN SYSTEM

Easy to install and remove fins. Compatible with other fin two tab systems, allowing you to change your fins to suit conditions or alter board performance.

This also allows us to have a Deck without fin screws.

    EXCLUSIVE SOFTLITE MOULDS

These have been created through collaboration with our Softlite Team and renowned surfboard shapers.

Using moulds ensures that every board comes out identical with no imperfections. It also creates a harder shell of EPS foam on the outside making Softlite boards stiffer and more durable than competitors who use similar cores.

    ★★★★★

After not surfing for over 20 years, thought we would pick of these up for me and the kids. I'm 6'2 92 kgs. The board is extremely stable, fast to paddle and easy to launch onto waves. The rails to not grab in at all, I found it easy to find the centre of balance of the board which made it really easy to pop up. The board has no tendancy to put the nose it and you can get a turn out of it. My youngest daughter who is 10 and 40kgs can also catch waves in small surf no problems. Everyone in the family has been able to stand up on it with nearly no experience. Great starter board for the family.

Amazing board, fantastic crew, great value!

Bought a chopstick 7'6 and I just love it. The board feels very strong and stable while thin enough with smooth rail to start learning how to carve.

The crew at Softlite is just fantastic and I truly recommend a pick-up at their Chippendale warehouse.
